Virtual Wellness Week: March 23-28th

We're in uncharted territory. But we're in it together.

This is a tough time for our community. Many of us are feeling extremely uneasy, anxious and nervous for what’s to come and the hardest part is dealing with these emotions without any human to human interaction. That's why the founders of Well Read and Pitch a Friend have put together a week full of programming that helps the mind, body and soul featuring some of our local businesses and national partners. Here is what to expect:

〰️ 1 Evening Drag Show Happy Hour 🍾

That's 18 offerings over 6 days. The best part? You have everything you already need in your home. Create structure for your day that infuses wellness, movement and learning into a new routine. All sessions are held on Zoom (you’ll get all the info when you sign up!). Can't make an event live? No worries, we're recording every session! If the ticket price feels out of reach for you during this time, please reach out directly and we will work something out!

THE SCHEDULE

Monday, 3/23

8:00am 〰️ Morning Meditation with Caitlin Fox.

12:30pm 〰️ 45 minute yoga flow with Sasha Hanway. This 45 min flow will build heat and strength, while opening up the chest and hips.

6:30pm 〰️ Learn about the status of COVID-19 with Jamie Babin followed by Q&A.

Tuesday, 3/24

8:00am 〰️ Morning Meditation with Caitlin Fox.

12:30pm 〰️  Lunch break dance party with former Washington Captials Cheerleader, Erin Hill. Check out her moves, here

6:30pm 〰️ Poetry reading with author Tahmina Safi followed by guided journaling.

8:00pm 〰️ 30 minutes of introductory breathwork with Emily Rasowsky to let go of pent up emotion.

Wednesday, 3/25

8:00am 〰️ Morning Meditation with Caitlin Fox.

12:30pm 〰️ Boxing Conditioning with Vic Williams.

6:30pm 〰️ Introduction to Feng Shui with tips to reorient and clear your space with Nitu Patel.

Thursday, 3/26

8:00am 〰️  Morning Meditation with Cami Wolff. Expect to feel relaxed and equipped with new tools to manage your stress.

12:30pm 〰️  HIIT bootcamp with Liz Harvey of F45. 

6:30pm 〰️  Get your plant babies right with a propagation workshop and Q&A from Sydney Sadler.

Friday, 3/27

8:00am 〰️ Guided meditation with Alice Hu. 

12:30pm 〰️ 45 minute barre3 class led by Vanja Amodeo crafted to build balance in the body.

6:30pm 〰️  Learn how to take drool-worthy photos with an Instagram Photography Workshop by Amanda Archibald.

Saturday, 3/28

9:00am 〰️ HIIT bootcamp with Liz Harvey. 

6:30pm 〰️ Drag happy hour with KC B. Yoncé! Turn up in your PJs, y'all. Virtual tipping encouraged through Venmo.
